Shipping

During the heat of the summer we ship with lined boxes and ice packs which increases the cost of shipping. We strongly suggest that you are home when your package is delivered, ship to a commercial address or ship Express Mail. We are not responsible for packages left unattended outside.

We are not responsible for the condition the candy arrives in; we take whatever precautions we can to make sure it arrives in tact, but we can't guarantee that things won't melt in extreme heat. 

At this moment we only ship with USPS Priority, UPS, and Express Mail Monday through Thursday, so your goodies don't sit in a truck or warehouse over the weekend. If you are ordering during the warmer months (May-September) or ordering custom favors that need to arrive on a specific date we strongly recommend Express Mail shipping. Please allow 2-3 days for your package to arrive once it is shipped with Priority Mail. Express Mail arrives next day by noon to most locations in the US. We currently do not ship internationally . We ship in boxes with extra protection, not padded envelopes, to make sure our products arrive at their destination safe and sound, but make no guarantees about what happens once packages leave our hands. Please double check that your recipient hasn't moved, or isn't accepting packages, or is away on vacation and has a hungry neighbor; we'd hate for your package to get returned (or eaten) for one of these reasons. You will receive a tracking number when your goodies have shipped to stay posted on their whereabouts. If you would like to ship your order to an address other than your billing address, please enter their name and address at check out by unchecking the box that links billing and shipping addresses. You can also add a note to your recipient at check out if you would like, but we always include a small note saying who shipped the package if sender and recipient are different.

Allergies

We use wheat, cream, butter, chocolate, peanut butter, peanuts and tree nuts in our products. We do our very best to prevent any cross contamination in the kitchen between our nut-free and nut products but there is no guarantee. We do use separate chocolate coating equipment for our nut-based and nut-free products and never reuse chocolate that has coated nut products on any nut free goodies. All our marshmallows are gluten free, but are not made in a gluten free kitchen. Please feel free to contact us with specific allergy questions.

Corn Syrup

All of our Marshmallows and S'mores are now corn syrup free! We are still trying to perfect our caramel recipe to remove corn syrup entirely but are not quite there yet.

Freshness

All our products are made from scratch every few days to provide the freshest Sweet Lydia’s order for all our customers. All our products are stamped with a best by date, that is if you can resist eating them immediately. If you somehow manage to resist eating all your marshmallows when they arrive, you can store them in an air tight container or resealable bag after the bag is open.

Lead Time

Most orders are filled and shipped Monday through Thursday with in 2-3 days of completed payment. We always ship as quickly as possible if we have what you are looking for fresh and in stock. If you are placing a larger order, your lead time will be longer. If you need something to arrive by a certain time, please leave a comment at check out.

Custom
