Sweet Lydia's started out as an experiment in the kitchen for care packages to friends and family.
Soon, Lydia's passion became a business with the popularity of our one-of-a-kind s’mores via farmers markets and pop-ups. Sweet Lydia’s wedding favors grew in popularity after they were featured in Lydia’s own wedding!
Since then, long time employee Shannon Arenburg has taken over the business to carry on what Lydia began. You can expect the same handmade products, with all new flavor combinations alongside old favorites.
A successful kickstarter campaign led us to our own brick and mortar in 2012, but unfortunately we had to leave that space in May 2023. Even though we don't have our own standalone confectionary anymore, we are still in production and aren't planning to stop any time soon!
Sweet Lydia's products are presently made and sold at Pizzelle Bakery in downtown Lowell at 201 Market St. Open hours are Tuesday & Sunday 8am - 3pm and Wednesday - Saturday from 8am - 6pm.
